The SAFE MFA (Multi-factor authentication) is an optional function for requestors. Here is how to Register

Instructions to register

Step 1: Login

• Login using requestor ID and password as usual

Step 2: download an authenticator

• Select an authenticator from the options or choose another, their choice, we recommend either Microsoft Authenticator, or Google Authenticator

Step 3: add a new service

• After downloading and opening an authenticator app, add a new service using the “+” icon and “Scan a QR Code”

Step 4: Scan QR code

• Scan the QR code presented on SAFE with the mobile phone, A new code will be added to the authenticator app called “TIMG NZ - SAFE”. 

Step 5: SAFE verification

• in SAFE, click 'continue', then enter the codes provided by the authentictor app.
• After correctly entering the verification code from the app, and clicking “Verify” the user will be logged in.

The MFA set up is now completed.
